Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA)

CE Required: 10 CEUs every two years

3 CEUs every two years must be the successful completion of a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS-HCP) course. All BLS-HCP, ACLS, and PALS  courses require a hands-on-component.

Required Topic: Restorative Dentistry

Note: dental assistants qualified to monitor nitrous oxide must be currently certified in a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS-HCP) course.
