Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA)

# CE Required: 12 credit hours every 2 years

Required Topics:

• Relating to the clinical practice of expanded function dental auxiliaries or practice of medicine

• Maximum of 2 credit hours of basic life support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation

• Minimum of 2 credit hours of infection control

Note: Auxiliary personnel in settings where sedation or general anesthesia are administered must be certified in Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider.
